Charlie Sharpsteen commented on an issue   Re: possible Directory Environments bug Both the httpd error log and the syslog show errors related to missing methods in Puppet::FileSystem:Module, which is a core part of Puppet that is unlikely to be affected by directory environments. These missing method errors usually occur when more than one version of puppet is installed on a machine. I.E. one installed through gems and one installed through yum or apt. How was Puppet installed? Is there another version of Puppet installed as a gem? Add Comment   Puppet / PUP-3085 possible Directory Environments bug I attempted to update puppet.conf to move from config-file environments to directory environments but puppet master wouldn't start. I have reverted the changes but puppet master still wont start. I have attached my current puppet.conf, puppet logs and httpd logs.
