I took a look in the directories on my machine (where I often run the server and agent together) and it didn't look like they would collide. I think we can just go ahead and keep the separate for now unless someone discovers that there is really no good reason to keep the separate. All data needs to be written to {{server_datadir}} for the master and {{client_datadir}} for the client, no matter if it is YAML or not. The {{yamldir}} settings can then be removed. ...
