To bind with IPv4 only, you need to just change your "listen" statement in your httpd config file for that specifc site. It should say something like this to bind only with IPv4: Listen 0.0.0.0:8140 instead of: Listen 8140 Add Comment   Puppet / PUP-1139 Puppet Master IPv6 Only I'm having a reproducible error, whereby my master listens on 8140 for IPv6 only and my agent is unable to see or communicate to it, and I'm not sure how to force the master to operate on IPv4 or on both IPv4 and IPv6 or to force the agent to operate on IPv6, but until they're in sync with each other I'm having errors.
