Kenneth Barber commented on PUP-3512   Re: Add deprecation warning for old profiler API in Puppet We'll have to do a release of PuppetDB 2.2.x for Puppet 4 support anyway, due to the timings of those releases. That is, Puppet 4 will probably come before PDB 3, and the last thing we want to do is delay uptake of Puppet 4 due to our own release timings. It was a hard decision, but one we think is correct. I'm open for debate, but for at least 2 weeks, I'm too damn busy and I'm going on holiday. I say just go ahead and we'll figure it out, our tests will call this out anyway since we finally fixed our 'testing against puppet 4' issues recently - it will show up as a red mark automatically for us. /cc Ryan Senior Wyatt Alt for visibility.
