Kylo Ginsberg commented on PUP-2563   Re: Remove 1.8.7 support in the ruby code base Michael Smith we will be dropping ruby 1.8 support in other projects on their next major releases. for facter, this is planned, and facter 3 (cfacter-based) will drop 1.8 support for hiera, this isn't planned, but hiera 2.0 should drop 1.8 support I'm not sure off the top of my head for other ruby projects under the puppetlabs namespace, e.g. mco/pdb/modules.
