Jira (PUP-3799) Classes with underscores are not found

I can not reproduce the problem - here is the sample I used:

$separator = 'app'

$role = 'po_tato'

class profile::app::po_tato {

  notify { app_potato: }

if defined("profile::${separator}::${role}") {

  include "profile::${separator}::${role}"

It works the same in 3.7.2, and 3.7.3 with and without future parser and in 4.0.0.

There is something else that is going on in your codebase. There is not much we can do to help without a reproducible sample.
