The only real alternative is to generate code (*shudder*) or do  
something like use templates to directly inject resources into the  
current parse tree.

This isn't trivial, but it is certainly approachable.  The whole goal  
for the long term usage of StoreConfigs is that it be useful for  
exactly this -- we'll have a Resources model that would allow you to  
retrieve resources from an external data store and stick them in your  
configuration.

Given that we're not there yet, you can hack it with templates or  
custom functions; functions are probably better.

I'm willing to help point you in the right direction, but it's  
potentially pretty complicated, so you'd need to either be quite  
committed, or willing to fund my helping you in more depth.
