This email is to kick off a quick triage round for what will/won't make it into 0.25.1
Here are the open 0.25.1 tickets, minus the ones marked ready for check-in. The ready for testing tickets: 2642 Normal runit service provider doesn't have a restart command 2639 Normal Fail to store reports in simple default config 2626 Normal Unhelpful error message 2617 High Problem with certs upgrading puppetmaster to 0.25.0 1538 Normal Yumrepo sets permissions wrongly on files in /etc/yum.repos.d I've tested 2626, and Luke and I have played with 2617 in our recreation of the situation, but it and the rest really to be taken for a spin in the original environments. I'd say include them in 25.1rc1 and push the reporters to test it. 2616 High Locking error in tagmail It's not possible to directly reproduce this, but we have a mitigation patch (don't log from forks, because you can't ensure synchronization) that should suffice and ought to be included. 2615 High Templates produce incorrect content This is hard to reproduce but we have a mechanism. The actual problem is that under rare conditions templates occasionally pick up an additional newline at the end. It does not appear to be a new problem, but just newly discovered. We don't have a fix at the moment. 2606 Normal 0.25 gem on OpenSolaris is out of whack I can't speak to this ticket. Anybody? 2604 Low Ruby 1.8.1's known bad syck causes core dumps It's a known but rare issue. I could pull together a workaround (monkey patch so the known-bad C code isn't called). 2631 Bug Accepted Normal show_diff no longer works Steven is hoping to have a patch for this today. -- Markus 2635 Bug Needs more information Normal "Could not find value for 'hostname'" after puppetd has been running >24 hours.
