I thought I did that a long time ago, but apparently not.  Now I can't  
just tell my customers they're suddenly unsupported, so we're planning  
on ending support for it over the course of six months or so, and  
we'll probably provide our own supported stacks for customers who are  
on OSes that still run 1.8.1.
