if people like me didn't yet realize it: you can change your redmine  
profile to get email notifications for any event on all your projects.  
this emulates the puppet-bug list perfectly.

otherwise according to james: the reason for no mails from redmine is  
a strange google-groups issue, which couldn't yet be resolved.
