Markus is going to start maintaining a wiki page covering the things  
that are outdated idioms and the like -- aspects of the code that  
should just be fixed when encountered.

But I don't think these metrics specifically have been targeted as a  
means of directing work just yet.  It'd probably be a good option for  
someone both skilled and bored.
