-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I've finally gotten around to adding in the changes for supporting symbolic file modes into the file type of the 0.25 series.
However, it appears that the mode keeps getting re-applied to the file every time puppet runs. Could someone take a look at the 'symbolic_modes' branch of my github repo and see if you can pinpoint what I'm missing? git://github.com/peiriannydd/puppet.git Thanks, Trevor On 04/11/2009 09:59 PM, Luke Kanies wrote: > > On Apr 11, 2009, at 8:49 PM, Trevor Vaughan wrote: > >> I've got the example code working, but I don't have time to fully >> integrate it right now. >> >> I have a sample custom type that implements it and was hoping to get >> it >> fully rolled into the file type in the future. >> >> I'm putting it out there in case anyone has time to take a whack at >> it. >> >> I'll try to get to it if nobody else does and I'll try to roll in >> extended posix ACLs at the same time. > > > I don't have time to work on it, but I know that it's been brought up > enough that I know there's a lot of interest. > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAkskaLsACgkQyjMdFR1108BxCQCgiJXk+5IsWWYg0aWZHijCO1Nx bi4AnjEC+UOrtHqkHtUlgLjjXY+UwvqK =oK2N -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Developers" group.
