Hmm..that scenario certainly gets my +1 vote.

I'm still not sold on this feature being a tripwire, etc... replacement
just for the sake of a more heavily auditable trail. Although, it would
be pretty easy to add that at the expense of compute power and speed.

Worth thinking about.
