I'm interested in hearing more about this.  It seems to me that some of the
things we use the indirector for would work really well in a queue
environment (e.g. node announces its presence and uploads facts, master
responds with a catalog, node responds with a report), whereas others seem
more synchronous in nature (e.g. client pulling files and SSL certificates
from the server).
