Huh! I can't get that to work as described on 0.24.8 or 0.24.9, either. Y'know, the `puppet` command still has access to everything in the modulepath. Do you have old test modules named "foo" and "bar" hanging around? What happens if you change those names in this manifest to "$totallynewvar" and "$othertotallynewvar"? Does it still work the same way?
