I updated #775 with reproducible cases on 2.6.4 Darwin & CentOS. There's the initial problem and confirmation of creating duplicate cron entries indefinitely. Because of the second part I think it should probably get bumped up from 'low', there's no one assigned currently. I didn't look in to the provider, but I suspect something like the #instances failing part way through prefetch. That could explain the creation of subsequent resources. I'll take a look at it when I get some time, but it may be next week.
