Ah 2.7.11 for both. Sorry I missed that in the gist.

I recommend seeing if it fails to load in the same way with 2.7.x.  Another 
idea is trying to ack through the puppet source for that error message. It 
seems like puppet is expecting a method to exist that doesn't exist on the type 
or provider.
