Sorry to re-open this, but I finished my initial testing and started doing the process of writing tests for my actual production system.
I installed the following gems: diff-lcs (1.1.3) hiera (0.3.0) hiera-puppet (0.3.0) metaclass (0.0.1) mocha (0.12.1) puppet-lint (0.1.13) puppetlabs_spec_helper (0.2.0) rake (0.9.2.2) rspec (2.11.0) rspec-core (2.11.1) rspec-expectations (2.11.2) rspec-mocks (2.11.1) rspec-puppet (0.1.3) and I applied the patch referenced in https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetlabs_spec_helper/pull/15 However, as I never did see a response from Branan, I am not 100% I did this right. My actual puppet master is running Ubuntu 10.04 (64bit) and Puppet 2.7.14. When I try to use any test for a module that uses hiera, I get the following error: undefined method `[]' for nil:NilClass at /etc/puppet/environments/test/modules/elasticsearch/spec/fixtures/modules/elasticsearch/manifests/init.pp:79 on node XXXX A full --trace and the module in question, and the test, can be found at: https://gist.github.com/3406417 Thank you. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Developers" group.
