Right, so last iteration is over for us. Things got done, and Deepak should
be sending out a summary of that. Here is the next update as to what we'll
be looking at for our next 2 weeks.
* Jeff McCune will continue rocking the pull request review and merging.
* Ruby DSL work:
* Patrick Carlisle and Hendrik Lindberg are working on creating a set of
steps to get the Ruby DSL merged, documented, and exampled.
* This work will likely span multiple iterations and so they are working
right now on breaking it down into smaller chunks
* This iteration will be:
* concentrating on taking the existing pull request and cleaning it up
* document how the ruby DSL will interoperate with puppet internals
* Code Loading (centered around #7316):
* Andrew Parker and Josh Cooper are working on coming up with a design
for loading code that tries to unify the several different approaches that
have shown up in the code (loading faces, loading actions, loading
functions, loading types/providers)
* There will be a discussion on puppet-dev of what we find and how we
think it can be changed to solve #7316 and some of the related issues.
* Facter 1.7.0
* The facter 2.x branch is going to go away and the unreleased code will
be made into a facter 1.7
