Another 2 weeks another round of planning. Normally we do these in the morning, but this time we got a little delayed. We just moved into a new office! So the team spent this morning moving around desks, unpacking computers, anarchistically staking out ground for team areas, and trying to find the coffee.
Every other Friday we've been doing a team retrospective and out of this last one, was that we figured that we really weren't doing so hot at planning out the next two weeks. Planning one week worked reasonably well, but planning two weeks of work caused us problems. So we've moved to a weekly planning schedule. So over the next week we are going to be tackling: * Continue trying to get faces to load from the module path. Josh is continuing with this work and hopes to get the core of it in this week. Once that is in I'd like to start getting some testing on it and making sure that it doesn't interfere with people's setups for environments. * Documenting APIs used in Puppet Labs training courses. Yes, what we teach will be documented APIs! :) * Work on getting our acceptance tests running against the packages that we publish. This has been an ongoing effort by the QA group and it is now in a state where we need to fix up some tests to be able to work with this. This should guarantee that the packages we release are tested continuously and reduce the likelihood that we release code that works, but not in the packages that we put together. * Finalize the document that we put out for review on branching and merging. * #9862 - puppet cannot run without puppet group on the system * Refactor the internals of the settings system. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Developers" group.
