hi! i would like you to have some quick feedback about the introduction of the "future parser" on puppet 3.2.
One of the things i love about the Puppet DSL is its *simplicity*, and here is why: when you have more than one sysadmin producing manifests this is something that helps keep things clear, surtout on complex scenarios. makes modules easily re-ussable. (one of Puppet strong points) I do believe that create_resources, custom functions, and custom types/providers are enough to make all sorts of complicated stuff..... (or maybe i wrong?) having a simple dsl is nice (and is one of the reasons why i am not using chef) ;) dont get me wrong, i love Puppet ;) but IMHO *simple*, is always better..
