Week of November 18th, 2013 [Andy is OOO, so I'm writing up the summary this week.]
Priorities 1. Puppet 3.4.0 Release 2. PE 3.2 support (part of 3.4.0) 3. Better NTFS support (part of 3.4.0) 4. Better support for certificate handling in elastic environments (part of 3.4.0) 5. Continued testing infrastructure improvements Blockers None Commentary The team was heads down and cranking away on 3.4. Look for an RC shortly! Ethan, Rob, and Josh C have done a ton of great work on NTFS improvements. A huge side benefit here was the addition of a filesystem abstraction layer which cleans up the code base for many operations and provides a solid framework to extend going forward. Adrien, Josh P and Henrik were cranking on the elastic environment certificate improvements. This is going to be a huge benefit, and we got to learn just how much fun the X.509 specs are! Also, a big shout out to the swat team for all the hard work to improve our testing infrastructure - much appreciated! Last, the next PR triage will be this Wed 9am Pacific time. Look for a hangout link on #puppet-dev that morning.
