located near the BT Tower in central London. The facility will provide

through out the day.

people and slots will be assigned as individuals are registered. Please
include:
* Your organization's name
* Your billing contact's first name, last name , and email address
and the following information for each attendee:
* Attendee's first name, last name and email address.
* Which session(s) each attendee would like to attend ( Mon - Wed,
Thurs - Friday, Full week)
Once we receive your email, we will send you a confirmation email and an
invoice to the billing contact that you provided. We will accept
payment via check, credit card, or wire transfer. Payment information
will be included in the invoice, If you need to cancel your
registration, you must do so before Sept 22nd to receive a refund.
*Materials Covered:*
The training will be broken up into two parts, beginner and advanced,
and will include lecture and labs. Participants will be required to
bring a Wi-Fi capable laptop. We will supply Linux virtual machines for
the hands on labs. Student will be expected to provide SSH public-keys
for access to virtual machines and the private SCM repository containing
lab materials.
The beginners session will last three days and cover:
* The Resource Abstraction Layer – Provisioning and Discovery
* Using the Puppetca
* Ralsh and resources definitions
* The Puppet files server
* Puppet client and server communication
* Bootstrapping Puppet
* Designing your Puppet architecture
* Getting the most from Puppet's language
* Using Puppet with a source code manager (SCM)
* An introduction to Puppet Modules
* Getting Feedback From Puppet
The last two days will cover advanced topics such as:
* LDAP integration
* Nagios integration
* Implementing Puppetmasterd with Mongrel
* Scaling your Puppet infrastructure
* External Nodes.
* Introduction to Puppetshow
*Cost:*
Participants will be able to sign up for just the first three days, the
last two days, or the entire week with a 10% discount for those who
choose to attend the whole week. Enrollment will be limited to 15
students in any one session.
Beginner Session only (day 1 - 3): £1500
Advanced Session only (day 4 - 5): £1000
