This is really and oooold version (almost 2 years old). I'd really like to avoid Lenny for now... ;-) I'd suggest you upgrade your clients and masters to a more recent version. You can apply lenny's or unstable puppet package to etch without any troubles. And if you are reluctant: etch-backports contains 0.24.4.
