[Puppet Users] puppetd logs not getting flushed

Has anyone noticed that the puppetd logs on the client don't get flushed 
on a regular bases. I'm often looking at the logs and don't see updates 
for many hours and then later on I'll see messages logged for hours that 
have past. It's as if there is a buffer that is not getting flushed to 
disk often enough.
