Getting the following error on the first iteration of the a puppet client on any manifest(s) which attempt to use the "package" resource type (on puppetmaster -debug mode): err: Could not autoload package: Could not autoload /usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/puppet/provider/package/aptrpm.rb: Could not autoload rpm: cannot generate tempfile `/var/root-tmp/puppet20110328-5094-fhzzk8-9' at /opt/USG/USG_Puppet/modules/rhel6-PK_rpms/manifests/init.pp:45 on node puppetest.localdomain err: Could not autoload package: Could not autoload /usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/puppet/provider/package/aptrpm.rb: Could not autoload rpm: cannot generate tempfile `/var/root-tmp/puppet20110328-5094-fhzzk8-9' at /opt/USG/USG_Puppet/modules/rhel6-PK_rpms/manifests/init.pp:45 on node puppetest.localdomain Subsequent client runs , continue successfully , compiling and then applying the catalog . Have tried forcing various provider settings without luck. Could anyone please explain the failure on the 1st run (or when puppetmaster is restarted) ?
