Hi guys : I'm setting up a puppet server for a vm in an open-source
biomolecular laboratory. however, I'm a graduate student and don't know
much about how to automate puppet synchronization.... I've only used puppet
once, on the client side, to sync a vmware image with its master.

If anyone wants to collaborate with me on this project, I will put your
name on a publication coming out in a major bioinformatics/computational
biology journal . Let me know !
Thanks guys .

BTW : As far as "simple" deployment strategies, any tips, id be interested
in. Im trying to create a virtual disk image that has alot of programs
pre-installed on it, that can be deployed once and then synced automatically
with the "latest" version of that virtual disk image (which has the latest
databases and open source software, which is installed and maintained by our
group.)
