Our complete suite of hosted transaction services and software products includes real time fraud screening, verification and compliance services to ensure our customers are transacting safely and are in compliance with state and federal commerce regulations. We’re looking for a Release Automation Engineer to join our Global Services team. In this role you will develop automation using Puppet that configures all releases from Base-OS to deployment fully automated with monitoring. You will work with other release engineers, operations staff, and the development team to put together the correct tools, processes and training to complete this project. If you’re a self-starter with a lot of energy and ideas around creating automated and streamlined processes, this may be the job for you. Specific Responsibilities will include: • Be the Puppet and Monitoring expert in the automation of releases. • Be the expert resource to the rest of the organization regarding Puppet and integration with Nagios. • Develop, maintain, facilitate and continue to improve software patching/install tools for hosted production systems. •Work closely with our Operations team to improve current production deployment processes. • Champion new automation and processes to continuously improve the build and release process. Qualifications: • 2-3 years’ experience with Puppet automating the Production Deployment process at a previous company. • Strong Nagios Experience including integration with Puppet. • Strong UNIX administration and scripting skills (shell, perl, ANT etc.) • Knowledge of JBOSS, Cent-OS, Redhat, Windows server, MySQL, MS SQL. and the use of source control software. • Experience with web servers such as Apache Tomcat. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related science/engineering degree. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group.
