I added the hosts parameter in the file :
# config/database.yml

production:
  database: dashboard
  hosts: server2
  username: dashboard
  password: dashboard
  encoding: utf8
  adapter: mysql

Then i used the migrate and got the following output :
server1:puppet-dashboard root#  rake RAILS_ENV=production db:migrate
(in /usr/share/puppet-dashboard)
rake aborted!
uninitialized constant MysqlCompat::MysqlRes

I missed something ?

That is possible you just need to edit the hosts parameter. The
Dashboard is a rails application don't forget to migrate your database
afterwards,
