I played with this a bit over the last few weeks. You have a few
options, if I understand your question correctly.

Making a wpar with a shared /opt and /usr  will allow you to use the
same PE...sort of. It's a little bit odd.  With wpars that share /usr
and /opt, you basically run puppet enterprise on the ring0 (for lack
of a better term) node, you could update items within the WPAR volume.

So, I am not sure which one is better either. I certainly would be
interested to hear your use cases or ideas, as I found it WPARs to be
a bit odd to work with on the whole as well.
