Yes, I'm aware of the limitations and have avoided setting the target until now. Unfortunately our Nagios config is so large that it takes a looong time to parse it, so I want to split it out to one config file per host, for ease of parsing. It will become part of our decommissioning process to delete the host's Nagios file as well as removing DNS records, deleting the VM, etc.
