If that's your intention, then why are you storing the files on the master even transiently? Puppet is a configuration *management* system. Part of that is updating machine configuration as appropriate, but if you leave it there then you are missing half the picture. Puppet is designed to also maintain the state it sets. That's a long way of saying that Puppet has no mechanism for what you request, as it runs counter to the system's design objectives.
