Hi all
does anyone know how i can escape %{ in hiera without it trying to convert
to variable?
i want to add the following to configure a syslog filter for logstash
match => { "message" =>
"<%{POSINT:syslog_pri}>%{SYSLOGTIMESTAMP:syslog_timestamp}
%{SYSLOGHOST:syslog_hostname}
%{DATA:syslog_program}(?:\[%{POSINT:syslog_pid}\])?:
%{GREEDYDATA:syslog_message}"}
problem is it will try and convert to variables so only shows the following
on the server
match => { "message" => "<> (?:\[\])?: "}
i have tried all the methods i can think of, any help would be appreciated.
