Sorry I am new to puppet and I am sure this is a simple fix, but I am completely confused.
I created a module to install .exe files on a windows 2016 server. I put the .exe files in the file directory */etc/puppetlabs/code/environments/production/modules/install_visual_c_packages/files* but receive this message. *Error: The source does not exist: 'puppet:///modules/install_visual_c_packages/vcredist_x86_2010.exe'* Every example that I have seen says to format the source in this way. The puppet docs https://puppet.com/docs/puppet/6.4/modules_fundamentals.html also shows this. I have googled this (alot) and don't come up with any answers that seem to work.
