Hi folks, I'd like to let you all know of a change we're planning on making
to the endpoints for the Puppet Forge. On Wednesday, May 4th, we're
planning on switching the Forge IP addresses away from using fixed IPs.
This is being done to simplify networking and improve endpoint performance.
The only impact this should have on our users is if you're currently using
a fixed IP address to identify Forge traffic, you will have to update that
to the Forge DNS name (forge.puppet.com or forgeapi.puppet.com). Puppet's
current tooling uses name resolution, so there shouldn't be any impact to
things like r10k and code manager. Please let us know if you have any
questions. Thank you!

In order to facilitate the transition, we are going to keep running the
legacy networking infrastructure to connect to the Forge until 6/4/22. To
use this network path, you can add a private DNS record pointing
forge.puppet.com to 192.69.65.71
