I also get "Undefined video mode number: 317". I'm on an Eee 701, using the puredyne-carrot_and_coriander-dev_USB_DVD.iso rsync'ed today (sat 14th nov) booting from a USB stick. Not sure if this is "c&c >= alpha6".
