Ok I misunderstood the issue, because there are two things going on here: * We used to have some <Alt> shortcuts (the most simple being Ctrl-Alt- Enter to open a terminal) and they have been lost when we moved to the new XFCE config files: this now fixed in r199, all unique <Meta> shortcuts have a <Alt> equivalent now.
* The Meta key (win/home key) on your Eee is not working as expected for shortcuts that are using <Meta>. Is this correct? ** Changed in: puredyne-live Importance: Undecided => Low -- application launch keyboard shortcuts not working (<Meta>?) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/482822 You received this bug notification because you are a member of puredyne team, which is the registrant for Puredyne Live. Status in Puredyne liveCD/DVD/USB/HD: New Bug description: In Settings > Keyboard > Application Shortcuts, it shows that xterm should be launchable using <Control><Meta>Return but that's not happening for me (Eee 701). This is with the default keymapping (us) and also after running "setxkbmap gb". These ones work for me: <Alt>F2 (xfrun4); <Control>Escape (xfce4-popup-menu), ... any that don't involve <Meta> I think. (Meta on the Eee being a key near the lower left with a pic of a house on it, pretty sure that's right.) aymeric says: "I think we lost the shortcut config when we moved to new xfce" _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~puredyne-team Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~puredyne-team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
