a wee bit offtopic maybe: im running puredyne as part of my debian lenny on a asus eee701 yesterday i made a mistake trying to install compiz-fusion (wanted some eyecandy). didnt work – not sure where i failed. after uninstalling compiz, my system is now lacking a window manager. i can start icewm by typing that on a shell, so it's in there, but a) i'd like to have it start automatically :-) i guess i messed with some config file but i dont know which one... and b) i dont know what WM was there before (im running xfce4) but it was way slicker than (this) icewm. hope its not too confusing. ims till very linux-noob... p
