Wondering if anyone uses Mixxx? I been having all sorts of problems with it... It's just not stable. The tunes don't seem to play 'correctly', like the pitch and tempo is drifting slightly, particularly with rhythm, something's wrong. This is with both jack and alsa. In theory Mixxx is a great idea, appears quite functional and well laid out. I have avoided using the other program whose name I can't remember but it looks a bit like Kraktor, as that one doesn't let you do much unless you buy it. Tight-arse that I must be. So anyway, I would like to see if anyone has found Mixxx functional or is it just not cutting it for computer based mixing (not that I'm dissing it's more traditional turntable based orientation), I would just like to be able to mix some tunes on my lappy.
