Hey, anyone want to come sometime and present Pure:Dyne to the linux user's group here?

The topic of the first meeting will be "Installing Ubuntu", I'll demonstrate an Ubuntu install and show how to set-up basic things such as networking and desktop preferences. This will probably take about 45 minutes and should leave plenty of time for questions / discussion. In future sessions I plan on presenting some more stuff for beginners (such as an introduction to the console and simple shell scripting) as well as some stuff for experts (such as debugging the kernel/writing kernel modules etc...). If you have any suggestions/ideas on sessions you'd like to see or would even like to do your own presentation, let me know as I'm sure we can sort something out. As always, if you're having a problem with Linux that you can't solve you can bring your computer along to the meeting and we'll endeavour to fix the problem. You can of course always e-mail the ic-linux-discuss mailing list for assistance at any time as well!
