well, ...
- download the key image
- download the leek and potato CD ISO
- burn the ISO
- reboot (1st boot device as CDROM)
- you're in pure:dyne
then
- plug the USB
- if it's mounted automatically unmount it:
- open a terminal
- type dmesg to see which device is your key (for example sdb1,
sdb2, sdb3)
- type sudo umount /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdb2, etc ..
- in a terminal cd to the directory where the image is
- for example cd /media/sda2/somewhere
- type:
- sudo su
- dd if=puredyne_leek_and_potato-key.img of=/dev/sdX bs=512
where X is the USB key ( in this example it would have been b, so
/dev/sdb)
IMPORTANT!!!:
if you give the wrong device name you might end up erasing your whole
HD! so be VERY careful, if you have any doubts at any time, please
connect on IRC and ask for help/advices :)
(you might have to wait a few minutes/hours before someone is around,
it's normal, just be patient)
keep us posted on progress
