In the process of dumping this email address, can't find an option 2 turn it off - must happen when I'm responding when out and about:(
I hold tight.

I have tried all the various suggested options for getting the rt kernel running, and all to no avail so far. I am wondering if it has something to do with the built in internet wireless card, as there are other people on the list using the same machine with (limited)success but without the HSDPA card slot.

Any idea gratefully accepted

P.S. I have, for the last couple of weeks, been able to run the internet whilst roaming around my hilltop village - which is kinda cool - although atm it only seems to be working with GPS option. I'm going to the big city (ahem) on Wednesday, sop will check if that's the case only because of my somewhat remote location, or it's a problem with the setup. On a more positive note, from much trawling of the net, I seem to be the only Debian user (god, I wish there was a better word than user, don't wanna be a user) who has it running, though there are several ubuntu peeps that have it working.

Anyways, RT would be real nice y'all:)

Bests,

Jbz

Hey Julian,
ok, 1st of all, do your mailer has an option to send plain text only or
at least a copy of the mail as plain text? because it's not really easy
to read your mails sometimes (they're not all like this fortunately :)
then about the kernel, if the boot options I sent in a previous mail
today are not working, then the best thing to do is to wait for a new
rt kernel that karsten is testing now and that is built against a more
recent linux version.
hold on there! :)
