hi
i am testing video with GEM, i open the GEM example for film object and
try to open the homer.avi video but it opens up screwed up. Looks like
it separates the RGB channels in different areas of the screen. The
other example movies (alea.mpg, anim01.mov) run fine.
This happens both in my desktop and laptop so i guess it is a problem
with the library that deals with mpgs and not my systems...
more likely the codec.
does it play fine in other players? mplayer, vlc, xine, etc...
ah, i forgot to mention that, mplayer plays it fine. I havent tried
xine, but VLC complains saying:
[00000296] main decoder error: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `IV32'.
VLC probably does not support this sound or video format.
this is the PD output on GEM and homer.avi loading in case it helps
