for a 4min57sec mpeg2 PAL DVD file (720x...@9000kb/s) transcoding to ogg/theora with ffmpeg2theora default (ffmpeg2theora bla.dvd -o bla.ogv ) on a lenny 5.01 amd64 with kernel 2.6.26-2-amd64 it took 10min59sec on a lenny 5.01 i386 with same kernel it took 13min34sec on the same lenny with kernel 2.6.26-2-686 it took 14min58 I'll test with oggenc and ffmpeg tomorow cheers, Ol. --- [email protected] irc.goto10.org #pure:dyne
