Hi Antonios, I checked the page, and it suggests getting:
ds1_ctrl.fw ds1_dsp.fw ds1e_ctrl.fw from the website and putting it in /lib/firmware/yamaha/ However, these 3 files already exists in /lib/firmware/yamaha directory. There was no need to download them from the web... Is there something I can do to get JACK going other than above? Thanks so much, Shihpin Lin --- On Tue, 5/19/09, Antonios Galanopoulos <[email protected]> wrote: > From: Antonios Galanopoulos <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [pure:dyne] JACK failure was Re: Can't find Supercollider > To: "p:d" <[email protected]> > Date: Tuesday, May 19, 2009, 5:15 AM > Hello, > > a quick googling came up with this : > > http://seputarlinux.blogspot.com/2009/04/yamaha-ymf-754-soundcard-problem-on.html > > this sound like your problem.
