I don't seem to find sclang and scsynth though (at least not in the chroot, 
didn't test the .iso image yet).

Which is actually quite an old version... so I might replace that anyway with 
a newer build.

But looking further in the log...
the script removes a whole bunch of packages again, after doing

I've attached the log of the whole process.

It doesn't seem right to me that all these packages get deleted!
It seems to be a dependency problem with one particular package...
