it would be helpful indeed if you can contribute some packages :)

there is plenty of info out there, we have already quite some stuff
here: http://code.goto10.org/projects/puredyne/wiki/DevLounge

It's not all up to date, but it should give you an idea.

Best way to proceed it to create yourself a launchpad account and have
your own PPA, then you can test your own packages, and when they're
good, just beep me and I'll add you to the dev team so you can put those
packages in the "official" repos.
