Same here ! Asus eeepc 701 - Karmic koala started to be a bit on the heavy side. Wasn't able to play mkv video anymore. Mixxx would hang and stop.
Now with pure dyne (and some light visual modification) my netbook really kick ass. It play smooth video, audio - while programming and downloading - no problem. I mixxx audio stuff for 3 hours straight without any hang or problem. Why would anyone want something different than pure-dyne?
