Hello all, My Eee PC 1005-HAP hangs when trying to boot from a Puredyne 9.10 usb live boot thumbdrive. The bios is set to boot from USB. All I get is a black screen with a blinking cursor after the bios loads.
I made the USB drive by booting a MacBook Pro into Puredyne using the live CD, mounting the Mac partition with the Puredyne image on it, and using the make-live-device.sh script. As I understand it, MacBook Pros won't boot from USB. The Mac is the only other computer I have access to, so I haven't been able to test the USB drive on another machine. Any ideas? Thanks, J --- [email protected] http://identi.ca/group/puredyne irc://irc.goto10.org/puredyne
