Hello puredyne list,
I recently started using a puredyne live cd on an imac in an office
I share with a colleague. However, I can't seem to get any sound.
I checked alsamixer and everything looks fine-- Master, Headphone, and
Front are all turned up, and I also tried unmuting everything else but
that had no effect.
I got help from Claude on irc who had me check /proc/interrupts to
see if the performance counter was going up when I tried producing sound.
(It didn't.) He also helped me do something with MSI but I can't remember
exactly what those commands were.
Claude also suggested I send the output of lspci to the list, which
follows. If anyone has advice on where to go from here I'd be grateful.
